This Bear Market Looks Like 2008

Nothing new ever really happens in the markets. Past patterns repeat in similar ways. This week I noticed some things that look very much like the 2008 bear market.
Please Note:
1) Stocks made a higher swing high in May 2008 (see below at crosshairs) -- just like we did in July/August 2022 (this means if the cycle plays out in the same way, we are just past the crosshairs now)
2) That move up in 2008 lasted about 2 months -- just like our recent bounce July-August 2022
3) The crash came 11 months after the high in 2007 -- we're now in our 9th month following the high.
